This is Marziya Shakir my muse model and street photographer , she is 3 years old.

She has her own Nikon D 80 gifted by her god father Dr Glenn Losack MD .. because he forgot to send the lens we share a single lens between two bodies.. he is her Guru No 1.

In a few months she will leave her play school and join her aunt Samiya Shakirs alma mater Apostolic Carmel Convent.

Nowadays Marziya is busy attending majlis and we hardly meet once I come back from my work place , she is very affectionate with Lucky the Labrador and Marziya pats him and strangely Lucky never licks Marziya at all, this is a strange relationship , perhaps Lucky knows Marziya is a Muslim and dogs are considered taboo because of their saliva.

Marziyas parents are not aware of this relationship between Marziya and Lucky.


Marziya has overgrown goats completely, but she loves photography, with a passion that sometimes scares me, she wants to shoot kids scourging or beggars just like me, she shoots hijras too.. and most of them know her very well she is the only child that the hijras never came to our house for badhai..

Most of the beggars know Marziya and greet her when she passes by, Marziya is generous with my money which she doles out to the beggars.

At home she is totally attached to my younger son Saif and both are creative, though Marziya is a good artist well trained by her other uncle Assad and her mom who is an artist too.


Marziya uses her dads laptop, and at 3 knows how to work on it, her dad is a soft ware programmer so she inherits his qualities too.

Than the person that is her life support after her mom is my wife , Marziya can make chappatis , and recite matam.

Marziyas best friend is Mehrin Mukadam , and though Mehrin beats her most of the time she takes it in all her strides , she cant do without Mehrin.
