being a shia
re livens the pain
on the soul
of humanity
blood as rain
ghame husain
a path of peace
sustains
karbala the wallk
to damascus
my imam in chains
i am crying as i write
this as i feel his pain
women children
mockery humiliation
on the soul of Islam
even today
a bleeding stain
lust glory power
when it hits the brain
only karbala ashura
remain words of Shelly
on the accursed corpse
of yazid ingrained
And on the pedestal these words appear:
`My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away".
I have not been well all night since I switched of my comp I have been dreaming karbala and I will never visit Karbala yet ,metaphorically poetically it wakes me up it lulls me to sleep...my Ajmer trip is over but my pain my journey into the poetry of pain continues..
