Marziya has shot my youngest son Saif Sakir and my nephew Shayan son of my kid brother Firdaus Shakir ..

Shayan is Marziyas Uncle too.

Marziya learnt to shoot pictures with a blindfold she was two tears old at that time she had mastered the art of holding the Nikon D 80 too , the camera was a bit heavy but she manages it with ease even now , she wont take the camera without first placing the strap round her neck..she aims and shoots I have never had to delete any of her pictures such is the clarity of thought in her pictures that she shoots with a divine passion..

Marziya shoots street pictures , and without being intimidated by crowds or kids older than her Marziya shoots her class kids too.It is all question of Mijaz or a state of mind ..

Not merely shooting pictures , but also seeing them once I upload them on Flickr she will proudly tell her mother it was shot by her..she knows the pictures she has shot we both shoot identical street story pictures.

There are times she will ask me to show her childhood pictures when she was barely two days old and her life's story is a running stream on Flickr..I captured nuances of her life her emotions her pangs and the poetry of her growth.

I did it as a grandfather and as a in house photographer of my family, I have never shot any of my children as prodigiously as Marziya..and also because Marziya was the birth of my grand fatherhood too.

But I know the greatest , ultimate tool of learning is honing ones vision through the camera , the camera is an instrument of peace and humanity if used holistically as I have used it as a street photographer.

If your pictures connect half the work is done, who cares for cult status or being as famous as another photographer..I shoot shit on the road I shoot garbage I shoot pain I shoot life ,,and life shoots me back ricocheting an impulse that produces poetry.

And I owe this all to people who came in my life and turned it upside down.. I owe it to my three gurus Prof BW Jatkar who though dead ignites the soul of my photography, Mr Shreekanth Malushte the humble but sincere teacher of grass root photography and the the Grand Master Mr KG Maheshwariji...Dronachaya who taught me to aim at the eye of the bird ,,,where the god of life lives.

I also learnt from photographers masters I met later in life like Dr Glenn Losack MD from New York my mentor my guide .. and any other Flickr photographers who visited me at my humble home ..and became a part of my family.

But I must also mention people like Anil Risal Singh Bhupesh Little Venay Paralkar who were there when I was learning to fiddle with my camera learning it to play music with it as a visual art.

There are others like Jean Marc Gargntiel, Marc De Clercq and many others ..Marziya also learnt from them as diligently as I learnt from them too.

An another nine more pictures I will complete 155000 photo blogs at Flickr .in about 3 years..with over 1200000 views ..
