The Nikon D 3100 was a gift that Marziya Shakir got from a dear friend of mine, once I had it set up I handed it over to her , Marziya will not take the camera without placing the strap around her neck something I have yet to learn , she said Bismillah and took this first shot of her grand mother , her favorite , her life revolves around her grand mother , who pampers her no end , her grand mother is always at hand to fulfill her commands that range from breakfast, feeding her lunch, and making juice for her..

Namaz is the essence of a Muslim house , they very foundation on which the house lives breathes and survives ..and the piece of stone on the Janamaaz is the Sajdiga made out of sand from Karbala symbolizing the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain .. and it is this sacrifice of Imam Husain that gave a new life to the Namaaz..If Yazid had to have his way the story of Islam would be totally different what it is today,.

But as this is a picture story, shot by three and a half year old child , on the Nikon D 3100, a camera that she held for the first time , but she got used to it after the next subsequent shots .. Marziya earlier used the Nikon D 80 also a gift from her god father and also her Guru Uncle Dr Glenn Losack MD Manhattan New York..

Marziya shoots her pictures confidently the way she sees it on her camera mind , the viewfinder is meaningless it is there it is not there .. Marziya shoots what her inner mind shows her.. something I have yet to learn ..

So this picture is a tribute to the love and affection of a dear uncle.. who is smiling as he reads this...
